This is the second edition of the International Championships in Group Fitness, where fitness instructors from all over Poland will compete with a positive energy. The instructors who will compete with each other, will present their own fitness lessons. All visitors of the Go Active Show will be able to join the classes as participants. For the fitness instructors Extravaganza will be a great opportunity to present their methods and training programs to thousands of physical activity enthusiasts, while for the visitors, the competition will be a chance to see different styles of instructors’ work. The winner of the competition will be selected by the experts.

full-body workout that combines cardio, conditioning, and strength training with yoga and pilates-inspired movements. Using Ripstix®, lightly weighted drumsticks engineered specifically for exercising, POUND transforms drumming into an incredibly effective way of working out.

GAB60 is a program in which we intertwine 3 exercises – strength exercises with different device and load, cardio exercises and exercises for abdominal muscles. In training we use barbells, dumbbells, tapes and balls. GAB60 supports fat burning, accelerates metabolism, but most of all it shapes slender arms, shapely buttocks and shapely legs, firm breasts, a nice back and a flat stomach.

GroupBoxing is a Complete novelty in Poland. The idea of training comes from the Italian Box&Fitness Federation (IBFF). This is one of the most effective forms of group activities. During the exercises the special prepared standing boxing bags are used. This type of activities has many advantages – It improves the general condition and body shape. However, the most important benefit is that GroupBoxing effectively relax and release the stress.

Hulaboost is a fun, simple & creative method to learn hula hooping. Spinning the hula hoop is a great aerobic workout – working on core muscles and coordination as well.
Hula hoop is a wonderful and joyful tool. This workout meets the need of diversity in physical activities, draws everyone to move – and most importantly, returns everyone to their daily routine with high energy.

Summary 1st edition

During the Go Active Show in 2018, there was the premiere edition of the National Championships in Group Fitness Classes – “Fitness Extravaganza”. It was an extraordinary event, full of positive energy during which the fitness instructors did compete with each other. The teams presented their own, author’s fitness lessons. Their efforts were evaluated by the experts panel conducted by Anna Krzemień – instructor, trainer and manager of the fitness industry, the initiator of the championships and the organizer of the event on behalf of Ptak Warsaw Expo. Among the experts we can list the representatives of schools – event partners, Les Mills, Jump It, IFAA Polska, Body Art and Personal Training Academy: Anna Karlikowska – fitness instructor and personal trainer with many years of experience and Jump It manager, Szymon Wesołowski – the first Polish trainer from Les Mills schools, Marta Tymoszewicz-Bednarz – trainer and fitness trainer for over 20 years, owner and promoter of bodyART training in Poland, life coach and fashion designer, and Ola Ciechalska – personal trainer, group fitness instructor, trainer, presenter and master Speedball Fitness trainer, IFAA Poland and Athlete Performance, manager at IFAA Poland.

The Jury evaluated the participants and their classes taking under consideration team presentation, plan and idea for classes, technique, teaching methodology, contact with the group and aesthetic values of the entire presentation.

Booty Killer program presented by the team: Kaja, Martyna and Patrycja was awarded first place. Booty Killer is an innovative strengthening and fat burning fitness program, focusing on exercises using kinetic wristbands with various degrees of resistance. Exercises on the armbands can be performed independently at home, with an instructor at the fitness room, in strength and outdoor training. Kinetic bands are also great in sports training (team games, athletics, tennis, etc.).

The Fit Solution program presented by five instructors: Marta, Magda, Ewa, Sandra and Żaklina was in second place. During the championships Fit Solution was shown as a Ninja version. This is an innovative, group training full of effective exercises inspired by martial arts, performed in an interval system for inspirational music that positively influences the motivation to exercise. Thanks to the program you can burn unnecessary fat, improve the condition and shape the figure.

Tenban, which was shown by Anna, Aleksandra and Paulina was the third place. The program is dedicated to people who are looking for something more than just monotonous exercises. Great fun, thrilling music, dancing, fat burning, firming and motivation, all-in-one.

The fourth place was the Fit Tonning performed by Olga and Piotr. This is a new dimension of endurance and strength training. Thanks to various levels of exercise difficulty, Fit Tonning is dedicated to everyone. The program is prepared for people who train recreationally as well as for professional athletes. It is perfect for group and personal training, as well.
